In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 news applications in Peru demonstrated diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of X, Reddit, Noticias KGNS Telemundo, Apollo for Reddit, and Google News.

X from X Corp. saw a varied trend in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $26 in the last week of December. Weekly downloads for the app fluctuated, reaching a high of around 39.4K in early December. The number of weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decline from 2.13M to 2.07M over the quarter.

Reddit exhibited a different pattern. Its weekly revenue peaked at $40 in mid-October, while weekly downloads saw a moderate increase, peaking at around 9.6K in late October. The app's active users showed a consistent trend, fluctuating around the 60K mark.

Noticias KGNS Telemundo had a significant spike in downloads, reaching approximately 2.4K in mid-October, but generally maintained lower download numbers throughout the quarter. Active users for the app showed a slight increase, peaking at 7.2K in mid-October.
