During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 news applications in Mexico showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, reveals interesting trends for each app on a unified platform.

X saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $263 in the week of November 7. Weekly downloads showed a significant upward trend, reaching 194K in the final week of December. However, weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 12.7M to 12.3M throughout the quarter.

Reddit experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a notable peak at around $991 in the week of October 17. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 63K in the week of October 24, while weekly active users increased from 316K to 339K by the end of the quarter.

Alerta Sísmica México - SASSLA demonstrated a sharp spike in revenue, particularly in the first week of October, reaching about $39.8K. Weekly downloads also saw a significant peak of 226K in late September. Active users, however, declined from 846K to 113K over the quarter.

Apollo for Reddit showed modest revenue growth, reaching $323 in the final week of December. Weekly downloads peaked at 6.3K in mid-October, while active users increased from 3.1K to 7.4K during the quarter.

Noticias KGNS Telemundo maintained a consistent performance in terms of downloads, peaking at 8.9K in mid-October. Active users showed a slight increase from 34K to 39K by the end of December.
