In Q4 2022, the performance of the top 5 navigation apps in South America, as tracked by Sensor Tower, demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users.

Google Maps showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 237K in the week of December 19. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 11.1M to 11.7M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, reaching around 530K by the end of December. Weekly active users also increased steadily, peaking at around 9.5M in the final week of the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options had a more variable trend in downloads, with a peak of approximately 218K in late October but dropping to 160K by the end of December.
