Top 5 Navigation Apps in Qatar: Q4 2022 Performance Overview

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five navigation apps in Qatar exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at these trends.

Google Maps saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 2.5K in late September and peaking at approximately 4K in the week of December 19. The app maintained a stable user base, with weekly active users ranging from 250K to 260K throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching about 6.5K in the final week of December. Weekly active users, however, saw some fluctuation, ending the quarter at around 204K from a peak of 230K in mid-October.

Sila - صلة had a notable spike in weekly downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 1.8K in the week of October 10. After this peak, downloads gradually decreased, ending the quarter with 329 downloads in the last week of December.

Wain - وين showed significant growth in downloads, particularly in mid-November, with a high of 1.8K downloads during the week of November 21. However, this number tapered off to around 240 downloads by the end of December.
