In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation apps in Italy exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a detailed look at their performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 38K and 55K. The app saw a peak of 55K downloads in the week of October 10. The weekly active users ranged from 7.7M to 8.3M, peaking at 8.3M in the week of October 31.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 53K in late September and falling to 30K by the end of December. Despite the drop in downloads, the app's weekly revenue showed an upward trend, peaking at around $1.4K in the week of December 5. Weekly active users saw a significant decrease from 581K to 403K over the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had relatively stable weekly downloads, hovering around 28K to 38K. The app's weekly active users ranged from 926K to 1.1M, with a notable increase to 1.1M in the week of October 24.
