Top 5 Navigation Apps in Colombia: Q4 2022 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five navigation apps in Colombia showcased interesting trends in downloads and active user metrics. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the performance of these apps across both iOS and Android platforms.

Google Maps maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 14.7K and 23.4K, peaking in the week of December 19. The app's weekly active users ranged from approximately 1.3M to 1.4M throughout the quarter, showing consistent engagement from its user base.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 63.1K at the beginning of the quarter and reaching up to 96.4K by mid-December. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, growing from around 896K to 971K by the end of December.

Moovit: All Transit Options had a consistent download rate, with numbers hovering around 20K for most of the quarter. However, there was a noticeable decline towards the end of December, dropping to 13.1K. The weekly active users also saw a decline, from about 303K at the start of the quarter to 215K by the end.

TransMi App showed a stable download trend, generally ranging between 12.5K and 19.8K weekly. Active users remained relatively consistent, fluctuating around the 100K mark throughout the quarter.
