In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on a unified platform in Germany showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Meine AOK experienced a peak in weekly downloads at around 26.9K during the week of October 17, followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 17.5K. Active users saw a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at 131K, and then declined to around 116K by the end of December.

TK-App demonstrated a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of about 21K in early November. Active users also showed a consistent rise, peaking at approximately 169K in mid-December and finishing the quarter slightly lower at 165K.

BARMER-App saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 17K in early October. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, fluctuating between 142K and 147K, ending December with a slight rise to 147K.

Meine Allianz showed consistent weekly download numbers, maintaining around 10K downloads per week, with a slight dip to 9.1K in mid-December. Active users witnessed a gradual increase, reaching a peak of 36K in late December.

HUK Mein Auto experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 13.5K at the end of November. Active users also increased throughout the quarter, starting at 62K and peaking at approximately 87K in late November, before slightly declining to 82K by the end of December.
