In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps in Brazil experienced notable trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data. These apps include Porto: Seguros, Cartão e +, Bradesco Seguros, Bradesco Saúde, SulAmérica Saúde, and Unimed Nacional.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão e + showed a strong performance in weekly downloads, starting at 35.9K at the beginning of October and maintaining a steady rate, peaking at 34.3K in mid-December. Active users also remained robust, starting at nearly 500K and peaking at 526K in mid-December, before slightly declining to 511K by the end of the quarter.

Bradesco Seguros experienced a consistent download rate, beginning Q4 with 26.1K downloads and reaching a high of 27.2K in the first week of October. However, downloads decreased to 15.3K by the end of December. Active users saw a peak of 167K at the end of October, with a gradual decline to approximately 150K by the end of the year.

Bradesco Saúde had a stable download trend, starting with 22.2K in late September and maintaining around 18K in early December, before dropping to 13.2K at the end of the quarter. Active users remained steady, starting at 125K and peaking at 125.5K in early November, then gradually declining to 109K by the end of December.

SulAmérica Saúde started Q4 with 12.1K downloads and saw a significant spike to 22.5K in the first week of December. Active users began at 112K and saw a peak of 123.5K in early December, before dropping to 96.6K by the end of the quarter.

Unimed Nacional began the quarter with 9.7K downloads, peaking at 15.3K by the end of October, and concluding December with 10.1K downloads. Active users saw a peak of 94.7K at the end of October, followed by a decrease to 84.6K by the end of December.
