During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 finance applications in Venezuela demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

BDV saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong at 269K in late September but experiencing a decline to around 74K by the end of December. Despite this, the app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, peaking at approximately 1.6M in early October and ending the year with around 1.55M active users.

Al Cambio - Dólar en Venezuela experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 16K and reaching up to 61K by mid-December. Active users also grew, from 185K in late September to a peak of 286K in mid-December, before slightly descending to 243K by the end of the year.

Tu Banca Móvil had a notable peak in downloads at the beginning of October with 51K, but this number generally decreased to around 11K by the end of December. Weekly active users saw fluctuations, rising from 205K in late September to a high of 255K in mid-October, then stabilizing around 204K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, BBVA Provincial Dinero Rápido experienced steady weekly downloads ranging between 14K to 18K. The app's active users showed slight fluctuation, maintaining a base of around 213K active users at the start of the quarter and ending with approximately 200K by late December.
