The fourth quarter of 2022 showcased interesting trends for the top finance apps in Switzerland, as observed from data provided by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps on a unified platform.

Starting at around 10.3K at the beginning of October, downloads saw a dip mid-month, reaching a low of approximately 7.4K. However, the app rebounded, peaking at nearly 12.9K in early December. Weekly active users followed a generally upward trend, increasing from 138K users at the end of September to about 158K by early December.

The Cembra App by Cembra Money Bank AG saw a significant spike in downloads in mid-November, jumping from around 2K to over 11K in a week, and then peaking at approximately 25.3K the following week. This surge was followed by a gradual decline, ending the year with around 6.9K downloads.

Finally, UBS & UBS key4 displayed consistent download numbers, generally staying between 4.3K and 5.8K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a stable trend as well, starting at about 153K and closing the year at around 157.7K.
