The fourth quarter of 2022 saw notable activity in the travel app market on the iOS platform in Germany. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 travel apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

DB Navigator, published by Deutsche Bahn, experienced significant weekly downloads, peaking at around 42K in mid-October and late December. The app maintained a consistent active user base, starting at approximately 879K and slightly decreasing to around 812K by the end of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel from Booking.com showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching a peak of about 33K in the final week of December. Its active users fluctuated, starting at 1.1M and ending the quarter with a notable rise to approximately 1.2M.

EasyPark - Parking made easy, published by Easy Park AS, saw weekly downloads peak at around 28K in early October and late December. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, averaging around 110K.

Uber - Request a ride by Uber Technologies, Inc. noted a significant increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately 43K in the last week of December. The active user count also showed growth, starting at around 357K and reaching approximately 349K by the end of the quarter.
