Top 5 Insurance Apps on iOS in Guatemala Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five insurance apps on iOS in Guatemala displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Ficohsa, published by Grupo Financiero Ficohsa, saw weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter. Starting at 150 in late September, downloads decreased to a low of 67 by the end of December. Notable peaks included 152 downloads in the week of October 31 and 137 downloads in mid-November.

Seguros G&T experienced more stable download numbers. Weekly downloads ranged from a low of 43 in the last week of December to a high of 68 in the week of October 31. The app maintained a consistent performance, with minor variations throughout the quarter.

Seguros Universales showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 83 in late September and dropping to 28 by the end of December. The lowest point was 20 downloads in the first week of December, with a slight recovery to 44 in mid-December.

Conseguros had a significant rise and fall in downloads. Beginning with just 1 download in late September, the app peaked at 99 downloads by the end of October. However, the numbers declined sharply, reaching a low of 3 downloads in mid-December, before ending the quarter with 16 downloads.

Lastly, RPN from Mediprocesos S.A. showed varied performance in weekly downloads. The app started at 15 downloads in late September, peaked at 56 downloads in late October, and then saw fluctuations, ending the quarter with 9 downloads in the last week of December.
