In Q4 2022, the performance of the top 5 insurance apps on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom showed varied trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Hastings Direct Insurance saw a mix of fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting strong with roughly 15.5K downloads in early October, but experiencing a decline to around 9K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a decrease from approximately 41K at the beginning of the quarter to about 34K by the end.

Admiral Insurance had a notable peak in downloads at the end of November with over 13K downloads but ended the year with a significant drop to 4.3K. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting from 58.4K and declining to 46.4K by the end of December.

Cuvva showed a positive trend towards the end of the quarter, with weekly downloads rising from 5.5K in late November to around 8.8K by mid-December. Active users also increased from approximately 13.5K in early December to just over 17K by the end of the month.
