Top 5 iOS Insurance Apps in Europe Q4 2022

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on iOS in Europe saw varying trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed.

Compte ameli consistently maintained a strong download rate, peaking at approximately 32K downloads in early October. Despite a slight dip mid-quarter, the app closed December with around 29K weekly downloads. Active user numbers showed a more fluctuating trend, starting at 168K in late September and ending the year at roughly 140K.

Hastings Direct Insurance experienced a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at 15.5K in late September, downloads decreased to around 9K by the end of December. Active users also saw a gradual decline, beginning at 41.4K and settling at 34K by the end of the year.

TK-App showed a steady increase in downloads, with numbers rising from 8K in late September to approximately 10.5K in December. Active user engagement remained relatively stable, starting at 75K and ending the quarter at around 84K.

Meine AOK had a notable peak in downloads mid-October, reaching about 14K. However, the numbers tapered off towards the end of the quarter, concluding December with approximately 7K downloads. Active users for Meine AOK remained consistent throughout the quarter, starting at 56K and ending at around 55K.

Admiral Insurance saw a significant fluctuation in downloads, with a high of 13.6K in late November and a low of approximately 4.2K by the end of December. Active user engagement also showed a downward trend, beginning at 58.4K in late September and dropping to around 46K by the end of the quarter.
