In Q4 2022, the top finance apps on iOS in Nigeria showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for these leading apps:

OPay-We are beyond Banking saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 15K in late September and peaking at nearly 27.5K in the week of December 19. Active users also rose steadily, from approximately 91K to nearly 124K by the end of the quarter.

PalmPay - Transfers, Bills maintained consistent download numbers, with a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 19.4K downloads in the week of December 19. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from about 116K to over 134K during the same period.
