Top 5 Finance Apps on iOS in Europe Q4 2022

In the final quarter of 2022, the top five finance applications on iOS in Europe showcased diverse trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage saw steady weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 228K and peaking at 301K during the week of November 14. However, its weekly active users fluctuated, with a high of around 2.3M in early October and a slight dip to 2.1M by the end of December.

Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 238K in early October and dropping to 114K by late December. The active user base remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.5M throughout the quarter.

VR Banking - einfach sicher exhibited significant volatility in downloads, peaking at 170K in mid-November but plummeting to just 28K by the last week of December. Despite this, the app's active users showed a strong upward trend, reaching a high of 1.4M in late December.

Tinkoff maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 67K to 140K throughout the quarter. Its active user count also showed a steady increase, starting at 5M in late September and rising to nearly 5.9M by the year's end.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 90K and dropping to about 62K by the last week of December. The number of active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 1.4M and ending the quarter with approximately 1.2M.
