In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five auto applications on the iOS platform in Nigeria exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Autochek saw weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at 173 in the week of October 10. Downloads gradually declined towards the end of the quarter, reaching a low of 68 in the week of December 19.

Copart - Online Auto Auctions experienced a steady stream of downloads, with a slight dip mid-quarter and a recovery towards the last week of December, achieving 122 downloads. Revenue for the app varied, peaking at $42 in the week of October 10 and maintaining around $40 towards the end of the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, with a minor drop in mid-December before bouncing back to 430 by the end of the quarter.

IAA Buyer Salvage Auctions displayed consistent weekly download numbers, ranging between 26 and 66. Active users saw a slight dip in early November but recovered to 229 by the final week of December.

CARS24 UAE | Used Cars in UAE had a varied download pattern, peaking at 84 in the week of October 3 and dropping to 19 by the end of December. Active user numbers saw fluctuations but managed to recover to 172 in the last week of December.

Driving Theory Test Kit by RAC experienced a notable increase in revenue, peaking at $110 in the last week of December. Download numbers were also on the rise, hitting 46 in the final week. Active users increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, reaching 57 by December 26.
