In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in Mexico exhibited notable trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides deeper insights into the performance of these apps.

Mercado Libre: Compras online experienced a consistent download rate, peaking at around 278K downloads in the last week of December. Active users saw fluctuations but maintained strong numbers, starting the quarter at approximately 7.7M and ending at 7.9M.

SHEIN-Shopping Online showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 235K in late September and dipping to 178K by mid-December, before rebounding to 231K in the last week of December. Active users also varied, peaking at 3.6M in mid-November and ending the quarter at 3M.

baz: súper app de entretenimiento y finanzas showed a decline in downloads, from 221K in late September to 143K by the end of December. Active users dropped from 435K to 317K over the same period.

Shopee MX: 9.9 Día de Compras had a relatively stable download rate, ranging from 134K to 176K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 2.3M.

Kueski Pay saw varying download numbers, starting at 161K in late September, dipping in November, and rising again to 158K in the last week of December. Active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 626K to 950K by the end of the quarter.
