During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 lifestyle applications on the Android platform in New Zealand showed varied performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads and active user metrics for each app.

Google Home saw a notable peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 4.7K during the week of December 19. The weekly active users also demonstrated an upward trend, peaking at around 38.5K in the same week. Earlier in the quarter, weekly downloads fluctuated between 2.4K and 3K, while active users ranged from 32.3K to 34.4K.

Amazon Alexa experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads, peaking at 7.9K in the week of December 19. Active users also rose sharply, with a peak of approximately 18.8K during the same week. Prior to this peak, weekly downloads varied from 900 to 2K, and active users ranged from 9.9K to 12.8K.

Trade Me: Property, Jobs, Shop showed consistent weekly downloads, with numbers oscillating between 1.5K and 1.9K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a decline, starting at around 59.2K and dropping to approximately 49.7K by the end of December.
