During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five lifestyle apps on the Android platform in Costa Rica displayed varied trends in downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers insights into user engagement and app popularity.

Pinterest saw consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 11.7K in early October and experiencing a slight dip towards the end of the year. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 490K and 510K throughout the quarter.

Google Home experienced a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 2.8K in late September and reaching up to 4.2K in late November. Active users showed a similar trend, rising from approximately 20K to nearly 22K by the end of December.

Amazon Alexa demonstrated a significant surge in downloads, especially in December, with a peak of 9.7K in the week before Christmas. Active users also saw a substantial increase, growing from around 25.7K at the beginning of the quarter to over 41.9K by the end.

Secret Santa 22: Gift exchange showed remarkable growth in weekly downloads, particularly in November, peaking at 5.3K in early December. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from just over 200 in late September to nearly 5.8K in early December before dropping to around 979 by the end of the month.

Claro Club Centroamérica had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 2.7K in early November. Active users grew from about 3.6K at the beginning of the quarter to over 5.7K by mid-December, showing consistent user engagement.
