The fourth quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top 5 lifestyle applications on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates. Here’s a closer look at their performance, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

Emirates Draw had a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting at around 24K downloads in late September, it saw a significant dip to approximately 3.2K by late November. However, it rebounded impressively to about 32K downloads in the last two weeks of December. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from about 40K in late September to nearly 64K by the end of December.

Aura MENA experienced a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at around 16.8K and saw a minor dip mid-quarter but ended strong at approximately 10K by the end of December. Active users saw a consistent rise, starting at about 17K and reaching around 33K by the end of the quarter.

dubizzle maintained a relatively stable performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around 8.5K to 9.7K, with a slight dip to about 7.8K in the final week of December. Active users remained steady, averaging around 83K to 85K throughout the quarter.

Smiles UAE displayed a significant jump in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting at around 6.8K downloads, it peaked at approximately 15.7K in late November. Active users also increased from about 30K in late September to around 42K by the end of December.

Qibla Finder showed a gradual increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads began at around 9.4K and saw a peak of approximately 11.5K in mid-December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at about 13K and climbing to around 26.6K by the end of the quarter.
