In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Kenya exhibited varying performance trends in terms of downloads and user engagement. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

mTek from Hillcroft Technologies saw a noticeable decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting strong with 11.4K downloads in late September, the app peaked at 25.1K in mid-October but gradually decreased to just 345 by the last week of December.

StanSure by Standard Bank / Stanbic Bank had a fluctuating download trend. The app began with 3.6K downloads at the end of September, experienced a dip to 967 in early October, and then surged to 3.9K by mid-October. However, it ended the month with no downloads in the final week of October.

The Be.Well by Slade360° app from Savannah Informatics Limited maintained a relatively stable performance. Weekly downloads hovered around 500 to 800 for most of the quarter, with a slight decline towards the end, finishing at 365 in the last week of December.

HIF Member App from the Health Insurance Fund of Australia showed a consistent decrease in weekly downloads. Starting with 234 at the end of September, the app's downloads dwindled to just 12 by the last week of December.
