Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Slovakia: Q4 2022

In Q4 2022, the top 5 finance applications on the Android platform in Slovakia displayed a variety of trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Wallet saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 2.7K at the end of September and peaking at 4.7K in the week of October 24. The app's weekly active users fluctuated between 65K and 82K, ending the quarter at around 66K.

George Slovakia experienced stable download numbers throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging from 2.1K to 3K. Active users for George Slovakia remained relatively consistent, hovering around 175K to 183K, and concluding the quarter with about 175K active users.

Tatra banka displayed an upward trend in weekly downloads early in the quarter, reaching a peak of 3.6K in the week of October 24. However, downloads decreased towards the end of the quarter, falling to approximately 1K. Active users showed some variability, starting at 74K and ending at 76K.

VÚB Mobile Banking had consistent weekly downloads, with figures ranging from 1.6K to 3.4K. The app’s active user base saw fluctuations, starting at 133K in late September, dipping to around 117K in mid-October, and recovering to finish the quarter at 123K.

CSOB SmartToken showed a notable decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Beginning with a high of 4.5K at the end of September, downloads decreased steadily to approximately 1K by the end of December.
