Top Finance Apps on Android in Oman Q4 2022

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five finance apps on the Android platform in Oman exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Bank Muscat Mobile banking saw its weekly downloads start at 6K in late September and fluctuate before peaking at 6.3K in the last week of December. Active users for the app began at 91.9K, dipped to 84.1K in early December, and then rose to 98.5K by the end of the year.

ONEIC Pay experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 2.3K in late September to 1.2K in early December, before recovering slightly to 1.6K in the last week of December. Active users started at 7.2K and showed a slight decrease to 5.7K in early December, then climbed back to 6.3K by the end of the quarter.

BankDhofar, which launched in mid-October, had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 400 and rising to 3.9K by early December. The downloads saw another peak at 3.5K in the final week of December.

NBO maintained a relatively steady download rate, beginning at 714 in late September and peaking at 1.4K in the week of October 24. The app finished the quarter with 708 downloads in the last week of December.

Investing.com: Stock Market faced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 1.4K in late September and dropping to 311 by the end of December. The app's weekly revenue, however, showed a positive trend, peaking at $83 in the last week of December. Active users began at 17.3K and saw a gradual decrease to 14.1K by the end of the quarter.
