The fourth quarter of 2022 saw significant activity among the top finance apps in Costa Rica on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at how these apps performed in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

BN Móvil Banco Nacional de Costa Rica’s app had a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating between 10K and 17K. The peak was observed in the week of October 24 with approximately 17.4K downloads. Weekly active users saw a slight increase overall, ending the quarter with around 519K active users.

BCR Móvil Banco de Costa Rica’s mobile application experienced a steady stream of downloads, ranging from 5.9K to just over 10K. The highest number of downloads occurred in the first week of October with around 10K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 76K throughout the quarter.

EMMA Unicomer’s app saw a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 11.5K in late September and dropping to around 3.9K by the end of December. Active users also showed a gradual decrease, ending the quarter with approximately 69K users.
