Top 5 Auto Apps on Android in Brazil Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five auto applications on the Android platform in Brazil showed interesting performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at how each app fared during this period.

Detran.SP saw a generally steady trend in weekly downloads, with a peak of approximately 32K in mid-November. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained robust, starting at around 821K in late September and ending the quarter at nearly 800K.

icarros Itaú: comprar carros experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, beginning at about 7.2K in late September and reaching a high of approximately 38K by the end of December. The app's active users also grew steadily, starting from around 29.7K and peaking at about 84.6K by the end of the quarter.

Sem Parar: IPVA, tag, cashback showed a remarkable rise in weekly downloads, jumping from around 7.9K in late September to over 51K by the end of December. The active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at about 48.3K and more than doubling to reach approximately 123.7K by the end of the quarter.

Webmotors: comprar veículos had a mixed performance in terms of weekly downloads, peaking at around 28.8K in late September but experiencing a dip towards the end of the quarter, finishing at approximately 18.5K. The active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 190K throughout the quarter.

Consulta Placa - Débitos, Fipe exhibited a varied trend in weekly downloads, with an initial peak of around 29.7K in mid-October, followed by a dip and a resurgence to about 32.1K at the end of December. Active users saw a decline mid-quarter but recovered to end the quarter at approximately 40.4K.
