Top 5 Travel Apps in Hungary Q3 2022: Performance Overview

During the third quarter of 2022, the top travel applications in Hungary showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here is a closer look at how each app fared according to Sensor Tower data.

MÁV experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 4.1K in late June and dropping to around 2.4K by the end of September. Active users for the app saw slight fluctuations, peaking at 13.1K in late August before settling at approximately 11.8K by the end of the quarter.

BudapestGO showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 5.5K in late June and reaching a peak of 9.2K in late August. Active users also increased, hitting a high of 95.6K at the end of August, before slightly decreasing to 88.8K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, from 8.4K in late June to about 3K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar downward trend, dropping from 101.4K in late June to around 78K by the end of the quarter.

Lime - #RideGreen had a mixed quarter in terms of downloads, peaking at 7.4K in mid-September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 32.2K in mid-September and ending the quarter at approximately 27.4K.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained relatively stable download numbers, ranging from 2.9K to 3.9K throughout the quarter. Active users remained steady, hovering around 30.1K to 32.5K, with a slight dip to 29.6K by the end of September.
