In the third quarter of 2022, Austria's top 5 shopping applications showed varied performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Fressnapf App saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in late June and peaking at 19K in late July. This was followed by a slight decline, stabilizing around 10.6K by the end of September. The app’s weekly active users mirrored this trend, growing from 1.1K to a peak of 50.9K in early September, before settling at 49K by the end of the quarter.

Amazon maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 6.6K and 12.6K. The highest download volume was recorded in mid-August. In terms of active users, the app consistently engaged around 580K to 620K users weekly, peaking at 611K in the last week of September.

Zalando – Online fashion experienced steady weekly downloads, ranging from 4.4K to 6.5K, with a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users for Zalando also showed an upward trend, starting at 120K in late June and reaching a peak of 142.6K in mid-September, before slightly declining to 135.7K.

SHEIN - Shopping Online had a consistent download range, from 4.3K to 6.8K weekly. The app's active user base remained fairly stable throughout the quarter, initially around 104K and closing at approximately 98.1K in the final week.

heyOBI: DIY-Projekte mit OBI recorded weekly downloads between 4K and 5K. The app’s active users hovered around the 21K mark, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with 21.7K active users.
