In the third quarter of 2022, the top five parenting apps in South Africa showed varying performance trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Pregnancy Tracker, Maternity demonstrated a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 13 in late June and peaking at 12.5K in early September. Active users followed a similar upward trend, reaching 13.3K by the week of September 5.

My Family - Family Locator maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations around $600 to $800. However, its weekly downloads saw a sharp decline from 5.6K in mid-July to just 368 by the end of September. Active users also saw a drop from 16.3K in early August to around 10K by the end of the quarter.
