Top News Apps in Ukraine Q3 2022: Unified Platform Performance

In the third quarter of 2022, the top five news applications in Ukraine showed diverse performance trends on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

The app ended the quarter with 89K downloads. Weekly active users also demonstrated an increasing trend, starting at 1.1M and reaching up to 1.8M in late August, before settling at 1.65M by the end of September.

X experienced steady weekly revenue, ranging from $20 to $45 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads varied, starting at 34K in late June and seeing a high of 39K in late July. Active users remained relatively stable around 1.3M, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

єТривога had lower weekly download numbers compared to other apps, with a peak of around 14K in late August. Active users showed a consistent pattern, beginning at 126K and ending the quarter at around 135K.

Reddit displayed a moderate weekly revenue trend, peaking at $157 in late June and varying between $43 and $119 for the rest of the quarter. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend in late July with 11K downloads, before stabilizing around 5K. Active users remained stable around 61K to 62K.
