Top 5 Music/Rhythm Apps in Europe: Q3 2022 Performance Overview

As the third quarter of 2022 wrapped up, the music and rhythm application category continued to engage users across Europe. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps within this vibrant category.

Amanotes Pte. Ltd.'s Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game saw a slight decrease in downloads from around 420k at the end of July to about 316k by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a similar downward trend, dropping from around 3.8 million in mid-July to approximately 2.9 million at the end of the quarter.

Another popular app from Amanotes, Tiles Hop EDM Rush Music Ball, also witnessed a decrease in downloads, from nearly 303k in early July to around 258k by the end of September. The app's weekly active users followed suit, declining from over 3 million in late June to just under 2.4 million by the quarter's close.

Adamusic Information Tech Co. Ltd's Piano Fire experienced a noticeable drop in downloads, starting the quarter at around 263k and finishing at about 230k. Weekly active users showed a decline from around 646k in early July to approximately 595k by the end of September.

Badsnowball Limited's Smash Colors 3D 2023 showed an interesting pattern with a peak in downloads of over 343k in mid-July before settling around 139k at the quarter's end. The weekly active users peaked at around 615k in the same month and ended the quarter with around 442k active users.

Finally, Space Ape Ltd's Beatstar showed a robust performance in revenue throughout the quarter, though the downloads decreased slightly from around 201k in mid-July to about 143k by the end of September. The weekly active users also saw a slight drop from over 1 million in late July to just under 1 million by the quarter's close.
