Top 5 Finance Apps in Ghana Q3 2022 Performance Overview

The third quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the finance app sector in Ghana. Here we highlight the performance of the top 5 finance applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Boseapa from Boseapa Solutions had an impressive quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at around 515K in early August before settling to around 44K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, reaching approximately 544K in early August and closing the quarter at around 288K.

Fido - Online Loans App, Ghana by Fido Solutions also showed notable performance. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at about 158K in mid-July and maintaining a steady range of around 57K to 120K for the rest of the quarter. Active users increased steadily, starting at 171K at the beginning of July and reaching up to 297K by mid-September.

On Loan- Ghana Loan APP from WantCash experienced a significant spike in mid-August with downloads reaching around 424K. However, this number dropped sharply to around 27K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at approximately 227K in mid-August and ending the quarter at around 125K.

TrueCedi - Loan online app by JAIN FINSCAP LENDING LIMITED saw consistent growth in weekly downloads, reaching a high of approximately 113K in early September. Active users also showed a steady increase, climbing from around 42K in mid-August to about 150K by mid-September.

Happyloan from 4cedi had a more varied performance. Weekly downloads peaked at around 81K in mid-July but dropped to about 3.3K by the end of September. Active users showed a general decline from around 127K in mid-July to about 81K by the end of September.
