In the third quarter of 2022, the top five education applications in Ireland demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at each app's performance.

Duolingo: Language Lessons saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at around $32K in early July and late September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 4K, with a slight increase towards the end of August. The app's active users consistently grew from 66.9K at the start of the quarter to approximately 80K by the end.

VSware experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in August, reaching over 10K. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this period, and no active user data was reported.

PictureThis - Plant Identifier had a downward trend in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue decreased from $12.3K in late June to approximately $5.2K by the end of September. Similarly, downloads dropped from 3.4K in early July to just over 1.3K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers also declined, starting at 14.9K and ending at around 11.3K.

Google Classroom showed a remarkable increase in active users, starting from 61K in late June and reaching over 130K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar upward trajectory, peaking at nearly 8K in late August. Notably, the app did not report any revenue during this period.

Aladdin Schools Connect had variable download trends, with a significant spike in late August reaching nearly 5K downloads. However, like some other apps, it did not generate revenue, and no active user data was available.
