In the third quarter of 2022, the top five education apps in Sweden demonstrated a range of performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users on both iOS and Android platforms. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Duolingo - Language Lessons saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $49K in the final week of July. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend mid-quarter, reaching around 9.5K in the week of August 22, while weekly active users increased from 89.5K to 106K throughout the quarter.

Albert Junior experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $24.7K in the week of August 22. Weekly downloads were more varied, with a low of 1.4K in early September and a notable increase to 2.3K by the end of the month.

Toca Boca World had a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching $35.7K in mid-September. Weekly downloads, however, saw a decline from 5.4K in July to around 3.2K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but maintaining around 44K to 50K users.

Ta Körkort showed a steady revenue trend, peaking at $18.9K in late July. Download numbers were relatively low throughout the quarter, with a high of 509 in late August.

Babbel - Language Learning displayed consistent weekly revenue, hitting a peak of $14K in late August. Downloads were fairly stable, averaging around 1.5K to 1.9K weekly. Active users saw minor fluctuations, maintaining around 5.6K to 6.1K throughout the quarter.
