The third quarter of 2022 saw diverse performance trends among the top apparel applications in Central America, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 289K at the end of June and peaking at approximately 340K by the end of September. Weekly active users also trended positively, growing from around 4.8M to 5.2M over the same period.
Nike: Shoes, Apparel, Stories showed a slight decline in downloads, from 168K at the beginning of the quarter to 131K by the end. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 620K to 640K throughout the quarter.
adidas: Shop Shoes & Clothing saw a significant spike in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 99K in the week of August 15. However, this number settled to around 60K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 375K in mid-August before stabilizing at approximately 340K.
H&M - we love fashion experienced modest fluctuations in downloads, starting at 23K in late June and ending at 21K in late September. Active users decreased from 408K at the start of the quarter to 337K by the end.
Cuidado Con el Perro maintained relatively stable download numbers, with a slight dip from 19K in late June to 17K in late September. Active users showed a declining trend, from 55K at the beginning of the quarter to 48K by the end.
