The third quarter of 2022 presented interesting trends for the top travel applications on the iOS platform in South America. Data from Sensor Tower highlights key metrics such as weekly downloads and active users for Uber - Request a ride, 99 - Private drivers and Taxi, inDrive. Save on city rides, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, and LATAM Airlines.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 81K at the end of June and peaking at around 98K in early September. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 2.47M to 2.62M over the quarter.

99 - Private drivers and Taxi experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from roughly 50K in late June and reaching up to 65K in early September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 1.13M to 1.25M.

inDrive. Save on city rides demonstrated consistent growth in weekly downloads, beginning at about 42K at the end of June and peaking at nearly 59K in early September. Active users saw a significant increase, from 747K to 835K during the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a stable download rate, starting at approximately 39K in late June and ending at 36K in late September. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, starting at 753K and closing the quarter at 705K.

LATAM Airlines showed a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 31K to 41K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 151K and ending the quarter at 160K.
