Throughout Q3 2022, the top travel apps on iOS in the Middle East showed distinct trends in weekly downloads and active users, as detailed by Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a significant peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 51.4K in the first week of August. However, downloads gradually declined to around 24.5K by the end of September. Active users peaked at approximately 690.8K in late July but saw a steady decline to about 552K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a fairly stable download rate throughout the quarter, with a slight peak at around 37.6K in early August. Weekly active users saw a consistent upward trend, peaking at about 842.1K in early September before slightly declining to 828.4K by the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw fluctuating weekly downloads, with a high of around 39.7K in late July and a low of approximately 25.6K in mid-September. Active users increased steadily, reaching a peak of about 148.2K by the end of September.

Careem – rides, food & more showed a consistent download rate, peaking at around 27.3K in the last week of September. Active users saw a slight fluctuation but remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately 354.3K in early July and ending the quarter at around 341.3K.

Google Earth experienced a notable spike in downloads, reaching approximately 118.4K in late August. Active users peaked at around 446.4K in mid-July but experienced a decline to about 399.9K by the end of September.
