Top 5 iOS Travel Apps in Germany Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the top travel apps on iOS in Germany showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

DB Navigator from Deutsche Bahn saw a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 168K at the end of June to around 31K by the end of September. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, peaking at over 1M in early August but gradually decreasing to about 878K by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel exhibited relatively stable weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 45K and ending at around 23K. Active users for the app increased from about 1.2M in late June to a high of 1.4M in early August, before declining to around 1.1M by the end of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at around 39K in late June and dropping to approximately 21K by the end of September. Active users, however, showed a positive trend, increasing from around 74K to over 82K during the same period.

EasyPark - Parking made easy had a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at about 36K in early August and ending the quarter with around 22K. The app’s active users had a steady increase, reaching over 112K by the end of September from approximately 86K at the start of the quarter.

TIER - Move Better also saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 33K in late June and ending at about 19K by the end of September. Active users for TIER peaked at over 127K in late August before decreasing to approximately 105K by the end of the quarter.
