In the third quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps on iOS in Oman exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of each app:

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 1.9K in late June and peaking at around 3.3K in mid-August. The weekly active users also followed a positive trend, beginning at around 58.5K and reaching a high of about 68.4K in late July.

IKEA Oman experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from approximately 3.3K at the end of June to around 1.4K by the end of September. Unfortunately, there were no reported figures for weekly active users.

Alibaba.com had a mixed quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1K and 2.5K. The highest number of downloads was recorded in early September. The weekly active users showed a steady rise from about 12.6K in late June to nearly 16K in early September.

Chicpoint - Fashion shopping displayed a unique pattern in weekly downloads, with a significant spike to approximately 10.1K in early August. However, the numbers dropped sharply thereafter, stabilizing around 300 to 500 downloads per week. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at about 9K in early August before dropping to around 4.3K by the end of September.

6thStreet.com showed varying weekly download numbers, starting at around 942 and reaching a peak of 1.9K in late August. Weekly active users fluctuated but generally increased, with numbers rising from approximately 6.7K in late June to around 8.3K in late August.
