Top 5 iOS Shopping Apps in Ghana Q3 2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps on the iOS platform in Ghana demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Alibaba.com saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting with just over 5K in late June and experiencing a slight dip to around 3.5K in early August, before picking up again to approximately 4.1K by the end of September. Active users for the app showed a steady increase, rising from about 35.2K in late June to nearly 40K by the end of the quarter.

For Jiji Ghana, weekly downloads displayed a consistent upward trend, beginning at around 3.3K in early July and reaching nearly 3.8K by late August. The number of active users also increased steadily from approximately 26.4K in late June to about 29.5K by the end of September.

Jumia Online Shopping experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at roughly 3K in late June and decreasing to around 1.8K by the end of September. Active users showed a similar trend, dropping from around 25.1K in late June to about 22.4K by the end of the quarter.

Hubtel had a varied download trend, beginning at around 1.9K in late June, peaking at approximately 2.9K in mid-July, and then declining to about 1K by the end of September.

Lastly, KiKUU: Online Shopping Mall experienced relatively stable download numbers, starting at approximately 1.6K in late June and maintaining around 1.4K by the end of September. Active users remained steady, fluctuating slightly around the 17K mark throughout the quarter.
