In the third quarter of 2022, the top five iOS navigation apps in Norway demonstrated varying trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

APCOA FLOW saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting from 7K in the last week of June, the downloads peaked at 11K during the week of July 11 and then gradually declined, ending the quarter at around 5.8K. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 25.8K in mid-July and then stabilizing around 22K by the end of September.

Google Maps maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting at 7.9K in late June and ending the quarter slightly lower at 3.9K. The app's active user base was strong, beginning at 1.2M and seeing a slight decline to approximately 1.1M by the end of September.

DrivstoffAppen experienced a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings fluctuating between $0.7K and $1.5K throughout the quarter. Downloads were highest at the beginning of the period, with 7.9K in the last week of June, and gradually decreased to around 2.6K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 58K towards the end of the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options saw a gradual increase in revenue, starting from a minimal $15 in early July and peaking at $211 in mid-September. Downloads were consistent, beginning at 2.2K and ending at 1.5K. The app's active user numbers also displayed steady growth, reaching approximately 10.6K by the end of September.
