Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Algeria Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw varying trends among the top five iOS navigation apps in Algeria. Here's a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads starting at around 3K in late June and peaking at approximately 4K in mid-August. However, downloads tapered off to about 3.1K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users (WAU) fluctuated, beginning at 202K and reaching a peak of 228K in early August before declining to 195K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a modest increase in weekly downloads, starting at 555 and reaching 728 in late August. However, downloads dipped to 492 by the end of September. WAU for Waze started at 38.8K and remained relatively stable, hovering around 37.5K towards the end of the quarter.

Find my Phone - Family Locator experienced significant growth in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads surged from 21 in late June to a high of 584 at the beginning of September, before settling at 132 by the end of the month. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $118 in late August. WAU also saw growth, starting at 191 and peaking at 603 in early September before dropping to 308 by the end of the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options had a consistent performance with weekly downloads ranging from 72 to 192 throughout the quarter. The app's WAU showed a steady increase, starting at 321 and peaking at 459 in mid-September, before slightly declining to 437 by the end of the month.

HUD Widgets had a mixed quarter with weekly downloads peaking at 461 in mid-July but dropping to 65 by the end of September. WAU followed a similar trend, starting at 359, peaking at 356 in mid-July, and ending at 242 by the end of the quarter.
