During the third quarter of 2022, the top navigation apps on iOS in Norway demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis highlights the performance of Gule Sider På Sjøen, Navionics® Boating, WeHunt, C-MAP: Boating, and savvy navvy: Boat Navigation.

Gule Sider På Sjøen from Skippo AB saw a peak in weekly revenue in mid-July, reaching around $24.6K, followed by a gradual decline to approximately $3.2K by the end of September. Weekly downloads also peaked mid-July with around 1.7K and tapered off to around 174 by the end of the quarter.

Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies S.R.L. experienced a steady revenue increase in early July, peaking at around $16.7K, and then declined to approximately $1.5K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar trend, peaking at 422 in mid-July and dropping to around 83 by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 508 in mid-July and gradually decreased to 189 by the end of September.

WeHunt from WeHunt Nordic AB showed a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, especially towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around $33K. Downloads also surged significantly, reaching 675 by the end of September.

C-MAP: Boating from Navico Norway AS had a consistent revenue increase in July, peaking at around $6.6K, and then gradually decreasing to about $748 by the end of September. Downloads peaked in mid-July at 129 and dropped to around 42 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from 253 in late July to around 155 by the end of September.

savvy navvy: Boat Navigation from savvy navvy saw a revenue peak in mid-July at around $5.2K, followed by a decline to about $259 by the end of September. Downloads peaked in mid-July at 978 and decreased significantly to around 50 by the end of the quarter. Active users had a peak of 1.6K in mid-July and declined to around 998 by the end of September.
