In the third quarter of 2022, the top five education apps on the iOS platform in Nigeria exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

K.J.V. Holy Bible maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 5.2K and 6.1K, peaking at approximately 6.1K in the week of September 19. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, growing from around 36.9K at the start of the quarter to over 40.2K by the end.

Clever: Brain Logic Training experienced significant growth in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads surged from just 6 at the end of June to nearly 2.5K by the end of September. Revenue saw an upward trend as well, reaching around $356 in the final week of September. Active users increased steadily, starting from 10 in early July and growing to approximately 3.4K by the end of the quarter.

New King James Version Bible showed a stable pattern in weekly downloads and active users. Downloads ranged from 952 to 2K per week, with a noticeable spike in mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing gradually from around 6.7K to nearly 8K over the quarter.

Duolingo - Language Lessons demonstrated consistent performance in revenue, downloads, and active users. Weekly revenue varied, peaking at $1.2K in mid-August. Downloads ranged between 873 and 1.8K, with a high point in late August. Active users remained steady, fluctuating between 5.7K and 7K throughout the quarter.

Coursera: Grow your career saw notable increases in revenue and active users. Revenue peaked at $2.5K in the final week of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 843 to 1.3K per week. Active users showed a positive trend, growing from approximately 5.1K to nearly 8K during the quarter.
