During the third quarter of 2022, the top five iOS books applications in Norway displayed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Storytel - Audiobooks Library experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $620 in the week of July 4. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend initially, reaching 3.2K in the same week, but later experienced a decline, ending the quarter at about 1.4K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 30K to 32K throughout the quarter.

Nextory: Audiobooks & E-books saw fluctuating revenue, with a peak of $105 in the week of June 27, before dropping to lower levels. Weekly downloads started at 2.3K, peaking at nearly 3K in early July, but gradually decreased to 885 by the end of September. Active users showed a steady range, peaking at 10.1K in mid-July and closing the quarter at 9.5K.

Fabel showed a consistent number of weekly downloads, starting at 1.7K and ending the quarter at around 800. Despite no revenue data, the download trends indicate a stable user interest.

Bookis had a notable spike in downloads, particularly in mid-August with a peak of 2.9K. This was followed by a decline, closing the quarter at 466 downloads per week. Revenue data was not available.
