In the third quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five shopping apps on the Android platform in Venezuela showed varied trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace witnessed a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 34.9K at the end of June and peaking at approximately 82.8K in the week of September 19. Active users also followed an upward trajectory, growing from 154K in late June to a high of about 346K by mid-September.

Farmatodo Venezuela experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads over the quarter, beginning with 39.7K at the end of June and declining to roughly 9.2K by the end of September. Active users similarly decreased from 76.5K in late June to about 51.7K by the end of the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online showed a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting with 11.7K in late June and reaching around 31.5K by mid-September. Active users increased steadily from 151K at the end of June to approximately 250K by late September.

Mercado Libre: Compras online maintained a stable weekly download rate, fluctuating between 15.3K and 18.3K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, with numbers hovering around 417K to 444K during the period.

Farmatodo Colombia experienced some fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting with 1.7K in late June, peaking at 13.3K in late July, and settling at about 5.8K by the end of September. Active users showed a notable increase, from approximately 4.1K in late June to around 13K by mid-September.
