In Q3 2022, the top shopping apps on Android in Latin America displayed diverse performance trends. Here's a breakdown of the weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at 906K at the end of June and peaking at 1.1M in mid-July. By the end of September, downloads were just under 900K. Active users for SHEIN steadily increased throughout the quarter, growing from approximately 14.9M to 17.3M.

Mercado Libre: Compras online maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 780K weekly downloads with minor fluctuations. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 34M to 35M throughout the quarter.

Shopee: 9.9 Super Shopping Day experienced a decline in weekly downloads, from 780K at the beginning of the quarter to just over 400K by the end of September. In contrast, active users for Shopee showed an overall increase, peaking at 20.3M in early September before settling around 19M.

Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace had a mixed performance in downloads, starting at 540K and reaching a quarterly high of 604K in mid-September. Active users also grew steadily, from 4.6M to 5.4M by the end of the quarter.

Amazon Shopping showed a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging between 350K and 490K. Active users, however, saw a slight decrease, starting at 7.1M and ending the quarter at just under 7M.
