Throughout the third quarter of 2022, the top five shopping applications on the Android platform in Italy demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's journey during this period.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a consistent level of weekly downloads, starting at around 41K in late June and maintaining figures around 35K to 42K throughout the quarter. Active users began the quarter at approximately 2.8M and saw a slight dip in July, before rising steadily to end the quarter at nearly 2.9M.

Amazon Shopping showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 47K in mid-August before stabilizing around 38K to 43K towards the end of September. Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace experienced an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 19K and peaking at 38K in late August. The app's active users mirrored this growth, starting at around 322K and reaching over 452K by the end of September.

AliExpress saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 13K and peaking at 26K in late August, before settling around 18K to 21K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a steady increase from approximately 1.1M in late June to over 1.1M by the end of September.
