In the third quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps on the Android platform in Egypt demonstrated various trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of their performance.

Amazon Shopping witnessed a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 147K at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at around 520K in mid-September. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, rising from 1.25M to 1.45M by the end of the quarter.

JUMIA Online Shopping maintained a steady performance with downloads fluctuating between 79K and 139K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight increase from 1.2M to 1.08M over the same period.

Lucky ONE experienced a moderate decline in weekly downloads, starting at 103K and ending at 77K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 300K to 350K throughout the quarter.

Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace had a variable download trend, starting at 111K, dipping to around 45K in early August, and then recovering to 100K by mid-September. Active users showed a slight increase, from 498K to 550K during the quarter.

noon Shopping, Food, Grocery saw a steady rise in downloads, starting at 35K and peaking at 77K by the end of August, before slightly declining to 57K at the end of September. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating around 600K to 630K throughout the quarter.
