In the third quarter of 2022, the top five lifestyle apps on the Android platform in Germany demonstrated notable performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, here is a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

McDonald’s Deutschland experienced a consistent performance in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 26K weekly downloads and peaking at around 33K in the last week of August. Active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining a range between 505K and 564K throughout the quarter.

Takko Friends saw a significant increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads surged from around 19K in early August to over 48K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from 103K in the week of August 22 to approximately 156K by the end of September.

Rossmann - Coupons & Angebote maintained a stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 22K and 30K. Active users saw a notable increase from 583K in late July to around 715K in the last week of August before stabilizing at around 645K by the end of September.

Pinterest reported steady weekly downloads, averaging around 26K to 28K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 3.3M mark, with a slight increase towards the end of September, reaching approximately 3.35M.

Amazon Alexa showed diverse trends in downloads and active users. Downloads saw a spike in mid-July, reaching nearly 47K, before settling to an average of around 15K to 21K in the subsequent weeks. Active users remained strong, ranging from 470K at the start of the quarter to approximately 510K by the end of September.
